Whether it’s at the beginning of a new year or at any other time of the year that is conducive to a new beginning, we make all sorts of resolutions. We want to improve our health, appearance, relationships, etc. But what about our wisdom?
We all know that pride is a bad fault (even a sin), and for the sake of humility, we sometimes refuse compliments. Where is the line between being proud and being prideful?
We know that the best God has given us is His Son Jesus. His sacrifice has given us eternal life, what more could we ask for? God’s generosity has no limits and our Father wants to bless His children even more.
Our project was progressing very well, but lately, it seems that our efforts are no longer bearing fruit. We can try to find the reason, but perhaps it’s just a forced rest, a healthy little break.
To each job is attached a list of tasks. When a request does not match the list, some people shrug their shoulders and refuse to do so. A legitimate position in the workplace, but not in the Kingdom of God.
Usually, when we quote a verse in Genesis in a conference about relationships, it’s Genesis 2:18 because it talks about marriage. However, there is an even more important part of our essence before marriage: we have been created in God’s image.
God is a good Father who generously gives us everything we need. Since we are His children, we should also be generous like our Father, but our selfish flesh does not want to. So how can we develop this skill?
Reading the first chapter of Romans, we understand that our eternal salvation and daily well-being are summed up in “who” we choose to revere and to whom we give our gratitude.
