You can't always be on the battlefield.
Sometimes we must put on the full armor of God and fight the good fight of faith. But we must never forget that at other times, we must leave the battlefield and return to the fortress.

We generally have no problem finding our flaws, but we shouldn’t forget to dig out the treasures God has placed within us and around us. Great wealth awaits us. We just need to find it!

We are truly privileged to be children of God. When we make Him our source, we can live in His rest and offer that rest to those around us.
Father, why have you forsaken me?
These are some of Jesus' last words. We can sometimes feel that God has forgotten us. Yet, despite His questioning, Jesus' attachment to His Father did not change. A beautiful lesson for us today.
